엄마가 그리운 엄마의 시와 사진 책이 책 〈꽃에 기대어 살았다〉는 60세를 넘어가는 장년의 엄마가 이미 돌아가신 엄마를 그리는 노래가 주를 이룬다. 자신을 낳은 엄마의 존재를 그리워하는 마음은 인간이 혼자 살 수 없다는 진리를 깨닫는 실마리며, 엄마에서 시작된 성찰의 시각은 자신의 주위를 둘러보는 계기이기도 하다. 그래서 저자는 자기 삶이 “지금 내 곁에 있는 사람보다는 나와 아주 먼 이별을 한 사람들의 등짐이었다.”고 고백한다. 즉 “엄마가 나를 짊어졌고, 정답던 내 삶의 이웃들이 나를 지고 살았다. 그들의 힘겨움이 없었으면 나는 살지 못했을 것”이라며 자기 삶을 65편의 시와 38편의 감성 사진에 담아 회고한다.
Mom's Poems and Photobook of Missing MomThe book "Living Leaning on Flowers" revolves around songs that depict a mother who has already passed away, by a middle-aged person over 60 years old. The longing for the mother who gave birth to oneself is a clue that realizes the truth that humans cannot live alone, and the reflective perspective that started with the mother is also an opportunity to look around oneself. Therefore, the author confesses that his life was "the baggage of those who had a much more distant farewell than the person next to me right now." In other words, "My mother carried me, and my neighbors who were the right answer carried me. If it were not for their struggles, I could not have lived," and reflects on his life through 65 poems and 38 emotional photographs.
