느낌 가는 대로, 보고 싶은 대로, 하고 싶은 대로 삶을 이렇게 흘러가게 두면 얼마나 좋을까. 어릴 적 쓰던 그림일기같이 좋아하는 것을 보이는 대로 느끼는 대로 표현했던 것처럼, 기교 없고 욕심 없는 작품들. 생동감 있는 컬러와 역동적인 선에서 느끼는 그들의 자유. 우리의 그림을 읽으며 해석하고 판단하려 하지 말고 함께 즐겨줬으면 하는 바람들. 삶은 그렇지 못할지언정, 이 작가님들의 작품들을 들여다보며 ‘낯섦에서 느끼는 자유로움’을 발견하는 기회가 되길 바란다.

How wonderful it would be if we could live our lives as we feel, see what we want to see, and do what we want to do. Like the picture diary we used to write when we were young, expressing what we like just as we see it and feel it, without any pretense or ambition, in lively colors and dynamic lines, and experiencing their freedom. Let’s not try to interpret and judge our pictures, but simply enjoy them together. Life may not always be like this, but hopefully, by looking at these artists’ works, we can find the freedom in unfamiliarity.
