《1988년 제24회 서울올림픽 대회 신 표준편람: 그래픽 아이덴티티》 프로젝트를 진행해온 지난 1년동안 선배 디자이너들이 성취한 작업물에 감화됐습니다. 그리고 관련 자료를 모으고 복기하는 과정에서 또 다른 아이디어를 떠올렸습니다. 그것은 서울올림픽 작업으로부터 파생된 유의미한 콘텐츠를 생산하는 일이었습니다. 이 책은 그 결과물입니다.

For the past year working on Games of the XXIVth Olympiad Seoul 1988 New Standards Manual: Graphic Identity project, I have been touched by the works senior designers have accomplished. While collecting and reflecting on related materials, I came up with another idea. It is producing meaningful contents derived from the Seoul Olympic works. This book is the outcome.
